The government of South Korea announced on 9 July (Friday) that it will place the greater Seoul area under the toughest social distancing rules of Level 4 as concerns of a fourth wave of COVID-19 outbreaks.
The decision to implement Level 4 guidelines in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Incheon starts from 12 July (Monday) for two weaks. Under Level 4 rules, gatherings of more than two people will be banned after 6PM. Demonstrations will also be restricted, although the government will allow on-person protests. Entertainment establishments, including night clubs, will be ordered to shut down, while restaurants will be allowed to have dine-in customers until 10PM.
Therefore, students are highly advised to stay home as much as possible.
