Suspected symptoms

(Body temperature over 37.5° C or respiratory symptoms)

Class cancel or online lecture (3-4 days of leave / self-quarantine and ‘official leave’); visit a health center to test if a fever higher than 37.5°C or respiratory symptoms continue

(self-quarantine and approved leave); visit a health center to test if a fever higher than 37.5°C or respiratory symptoms continue

Contact relevant School and Department Head; the School reports situation to Academic Affairs Division

In quarantine for suspected infection

(In case of contact with confirmed patient; a family member being a confirmed case or in quarantine, and; those from overseas)

Class cancel or online lecture (2 weeks of self-quarantine and testing/ ‘official leave’)

* Faulty may return to class from the next day of getting negative test result

Stops attendance to class (approved leave)

(2 weeks of self-quarantine and testing)

* Students may return to class from the next day of getting negative test result

Student: submits Attendance Confirmation Application and test results

Confirmed case

(tested positive)

Sick leave (until completely recovered) (State Public Officials Service Regulations Article 18, 19, etc.)

Up to 4 weeks of approved leave (including development of symptoms, self-quarantine, confirmation and treatment); students with over 4 weeks of leave are subject to special leave of absence

Student: submits Attendance Confirmation Application, Confirmation of Complete Recovery (Treatment), and Special Leave of Absence Application to Administrations Office or TA Office
