Park Haerim, KNIGA, places the 1st
in Zhuhai
International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians
Park Haerim, a student of the Korea
National Institute for Gifted in Arts (KNIGA), won at the 4th Zhuhai
International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians. The Zhuhai Mozart
Competition started in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China, in 2015 for young musicians.
The whole process of this year’s competition took place online.
Park Haerim won the Astana Piano Passion
Contest in Kazakhstan in 2017 in the junior section. In 2020, she placed 2nd in
the 17th Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists. Park was
awarded the KNIGA President Award in music. As the winner of the Global Scholarship
granted by the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation, she also performs as a
member of the OnDream Ensemble affiliated with the foundation.
Having debuted
with the Kumho Prodigy Concert and Music in PyeongChang, Park Haerim currently
attends Seoul Arts High School while studying under professor Lee Jin-sang of
the School of Music in the KNIGA.
