K-Arts Culture & Arts Education Center Starts the Arts Program for Fall Season

Until Wednesday, 5 October, the K-Arts Culture & Arts Education Center (Center Head Kim Hyunmi) recruits the students for the 2022 Arts Program for Fall Season. This season, the program provides 20 classes in 6 fields (music, play, media, dance, visual arts, and Korean traditional arts). Each class size will be between 10 and 25. Most educational programs of this season will take place online, whereas some will take place on campus at either Seokgwan-dong or Daehak-ro campuses. The classes are open to the public. The tuition is free. Anyone interested can register for the courses on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

The courses offered this season are the following: Prof. Hong Seungchan’s History of Western Music, which approaches classical music through the history of Western music, instructor Kim Eun-suk’s Understanding Acting, which will have various practical exercises in acting through impromptu plays, instructor Kim Jung-in’s The Basics of Documentary Production, which will study the documentary both theoretically and practically, Prof. Heo Young-il and instructor Lee Mi-yeon’s Ethnic Culture and Ethnic Dance, which will teach the ethnic dances from around the world, instructor Yang Eun-kyung’s Understanding Visual Arts, which study the history of visual arts from the ancient to modern Europe, and instructor Kim Ki-tae’s Seonban Seoljanggu Rhythms, which will teach breathing skills and Korean traditional percussion rhythms.
