K-Arts
Presents “The Gift of Everyday Life,” a Thank You Concert for the Nurses
On 26 July, at the Lee Kang Sook Hall on the Seocho-dong campus, the K-Arts hosted a thank you concert, “The Gift of Everyday Life,” for the nurses in Seoul. The event was to console the nurses who fought at the forefront of the healthcare system against the COVID-19 pandemic. President Kim Daejin of the K-Arts planned the event himself. And with the school president, dean Lee Kang-ho of the School of Music, and current and graduate K-Arts students joined as performers who presented various stages, delivering comfort, hope and healing through their music.
On behalf of the organization, President Park In-sook
of the Seoul Nurses Association said, “For the past two years, we’ve been
struggling in the difficult times, emotionally and physically drained. We want
to thank President Kim Daejin of the K-Arts for arranging this wonderful
concert, to let us get healed by the music. I hope our nurses could have time
to recharge themselves through this opportunity.”
