School of Dance Presents the 49th K-Arts Subscription Concert, “Big Wave”

In the growing expectation for the shift to the endemic situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the School of Dance presented the 29th K-Arts subscription concert on 20 and 21 May. As it was the first dance performance in contact with the audience since the pandemic, the ticket selling was thriving with the preorders sold-out.

On the theme of “Big Wave,” this subscription concert featured five works: choreographers Kim Sung’s “Navigator: Where Are We Heading,” Kim Jeongsu’s “Kkiim-sae,” Park Sihan’s “What Is Your Choice?,” Lee Seseung’s “>Dong<,” and Lee Juhee’s “Witches.”

The K-Arts Dance is a professional dance team composed of professors and undergraduate and graduate students of the School of Dance. The members are competent in the diverse dance genres across ballet, modern dance, Korean dance, etc. It is known for being one of the first professional dance teams that foster expert dancers through engaging in many performances internationally.
