Kim
Minju of School of Music Takes the 3rd Place in the Prague Spring Competition
Kim Minju (1999), who studied
instrumental music in the School of Music, took 3rd place and the Janos Meszaros
Memoriam Prize at the Dvorak Hall of Rudolfinum in the Prague Spring
Competition. Kim Minju is currently pursuing a Master of Arts at Zurich
University of the Arts in Switzerland. She earned her BA in the School of Music
in K-Arts.
The Prague Spring Competition began as
an international music competition at the Prague Spring Festival in 1947. The
contest is eligible for young musicians under age 30. It takes twice a year,
having two different instrument categories taking turns. This year, the categories
open for the competition were the bassoon and clarinet.
