K-Arts X TikTok Showcases the Vertical Interactive Drama, “White Day”

On Saturday, 12 March, the K-Arts Art & Technology Lab (AT Lab) with the global video platform TikTok showcased a vertical cinema as the outcome of the academic-industrial project. 

As it says in the advertisement, “I am the Cupid! I get to choose the love relationship I want,” this vertical interactive drama varies in its ending depending on the audience’s choice. The film is available on TikTok’s vertical cinema account, “@verticalshortfilm.” This showcase is a part of “TikTok for Good,” TikTok’s social contribution project. The outcome of the academic-industrial project by the K-Arts X TikTok has come out after a year of production in the School of Film, TV & Multimedia from March 2020 to February 2021.

 In the meantime, the project runs seasonally. In 2021, K-Arts with TikTok had already screened 12 short-form videos 1-3 minutes long, including Kkyu Film’s “For Symmetric People,” which hit 190 million views.
