K-Arts X ifland Opens the 2022 Metaverse Entrance Ceremony

At 11 A.M. on Friday, 25 February, the K-Arts hosted an entrance ceremony, “Life, Arts, and Us,” on ifland, a metaverse platform. The ifland is a metaverse platform that combines a 5G network and metaverse services. The users could communicate in real-time in a virtual space using individual avatars on this platform. 

At the virtual event space on ifland, the on-site event at the K-Arts Theater on the Seokgwan-dong campus was aired in real-time while the new students and the whole faculty could access the virtual space via invitation links received. The participants could express the various emotions and take body motions through their avatars. They could also walk around the event venue, taking occasion photos individually or in groups. The K-Arts TV YouTube channel also live-streamed the ceremony that anyone willing to join could take part and leave supportive comments.
