Invitation
From Thursday,
16 to Saturday, 18 December, a multidisciplinary metaverse performance, Scarecrow
H, by the K-Arts Art & Technology Lab (AT Lab) took place at the COEX
Hall in Samseong, Seoul, at the invitation to the K-Metaverse Expo & K-Metaverse
Festival.
At the premiere in the Design Museum in the Dongdaemoon Design Plaza (DDP), the performance marked the sold-out records for all 91 times of staging. Scarecrow H, the first hybrid metaverse performance in Korea, is an immersive media content. In this metaverse world, the users and actors from around the globe access the VRChat, a social VR platform, and complete the performance together. Providing the metaverse as a new sphere for arts, Scarecrow H enabled the audience to explore the infinite possibility of artistic creativity and production through high technology.
