Dir. Choi Hang-yong of the School of Film, TV & Multimedia Directs The Silent Sea (2021) on Netflix

The last original series of the year from Korea, The Silent Sea (2021), by director Choi Hang-yong who received the BA in Multimedia and MA in Filmmaking in the School of Film, TV & Multimedia, was finally disclosed on Netflix. 

According to FlixPatrol, a website that provides the ratings of online content services, The Silent Sea ranked the 4^th in the world on the second day of its release. The series is an SF thriller composed of 8 episodes. It sets in the future earth devastated and deprived of essential resources. The series is also known for being directed by actor Jung Woo-sung who had decided to execute the production of the series after he had watched Choi Hang-yong’s short graduation film of the same title.
