K-Arts Presents “Forte Concert K-Arts with Kim Yeji” to Improve the Disability Awareness

At 7 p.m. on Friday, 17 December, the K-Arts presented the “Forte Concert K-Arts with Kim Yeji” at the Lee Kangsook Hall on the Seocho-dong campus. The concert aims to console the people exhausted from the prolonged COVID-19 and to improve the social awareness of the disability. The word “forte” is a musical term that guides an artist to play the music “strongly” or “loudly.” As what the word refers to, the concert intends to demonstrate the power of the arts.

In this event, the K-Arts students with and without disabilities went on stage together, presenting the four pieces of music: “The Elephant and the Fly” by Henri Kling, “Sonatensatz: Scherzo” by Brahms, and “Clarinet Trio in B-flat Major I,” and II. Adagio Cantabile and III. Rondo: Allegro from “Piano Sonata No.8” by Beethoven.

Additionally, President Kim Daejin of K-Arts and pianist Kim Yeji, a member of the National Assembly, appeared on stage as special guests and presented ‘En bateau’ and ‘Ballet’ from “Petite Suite for 4 Hands” by Claude Debussy to encourage students.
