Apple TV+’s New Drama Series, “Dr. Brain,” Stars Actor Lee Sunkyun, an Alumnus of School of Drama

Actor Lee Sunkyun, a graduate of School of Drama, is cast for the leading role in the first Korean original series on Apple TV+, “Dr. Brain.” The Apple TV+ has just begun its service in Korea on 4 November. The series is an SF thriller adapted from the original work with the same title by webtoon artist Hongjacga. 

It is the first drama series directed by Kim Jee-woon, one of the best filmmakers in Korea. In the series, Lee plays a brain scientist Koh Sewon who is in search of the clues hidden in the memories and consciousness of others by maneuvering brain synch techniques. Each episode of “Dr. Brain,” six in total, will be released weekly. About his advancing to a global OTT platform, Lee said, “I am very excited to see people all around the world sharing the Korean drama.”
