Works of K-Arts Artists Are Now Available Online

 

The Works of Professors of the School of Drama Are Now Available Online



 

Lately, many art centers and theaters are online streaming video-recorded or live performances for free in a limited period through their video streaming channels in the wake of the spread of COVID-19. Since April 6th, the National Theater Company of Korea is running an online theater on their Youtube channel and revealing the shows for 24 hours.

 

Starting from the play The Plague dramatized by professor Park Geunhyung of the School of Drama, Ballads for Roxane adapted by writer Kim Taehyeong, 1945 by professor Pai Samshik, and The Comedy of Errors directed by professor Nam Geungho will be streamed.

 

On the “SAC on Screen,” the official YouTube channel of Seoul Arts Center, the concert of pianist Kim Tae-Hyeong, violinist Kim Jae-Young, and violist Lee Hanna, all graduated K-Arts School of Music, was live-streamed on April 4th. Earlier on March 24th, the “SAC on Screen” showed the classical music band composed of K-Arts alumni NOVUS Quartet’s concert held in 2018. During the screening, the band members, Kim Kyuhyun (viola), Kim Young-uk (violin), Kim Jaeyoung (violin), and Moon Woongwhee (cello) had a live chat with their audience.

 

And the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra streamed a performance of cellist Lim Hee-Young, alumna of School of Music, on their Youtube channel “GGAC! TV” on April 10th. The Namsan Arts Center also ran “Namsan Arts Center NFLIX” and online streamed the shows beloved by the audience for April. Besides, the plays All the Soldiers are Pathetic by professor Park Kun-Hyung, The Sense of a Wife by professor Ko Yeong-Ok, The Blue Nation by Kim Su-Jeong will be available on the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture’s official Youtube channel.
