The Korea National University of Arts Holds the 2nd Colloquium for Promoting Interdisciplinary Arts Education



 

The interdisciplinary arts education task force under the Korea National University of Arts hosted a colloquium, “The Case Study of the World Largest New Media Art Festival: Ars Electronica,” on October 8th. 

 

While the event was supervised by the K-Arts Creative Corporation and hosted by the Korea National University of Arts, it took place at the function hall on the 3rd floor of the main building in the Seokgwan-dong campus. This event mainly sought methods for effective collaboration between the Korea National University of Arts and Ars Electronica. Planning director Lee Dong Yeon and professor Cho Chung Yean of the School of Film, TV & Multimedia, and professor Jeon Su-hwan of the School of Dance gave talks and led discussions throughout the event. 

 

As the 2nd colloquium for promoting interdisciplinary arts education, the event discussed the issues regarding nurturing versatile experts in arts adaptable to changing the technological environment as well as the methods for arranging education programs to meet such needs.
