Member
A new co-ed K-pop group, ALLDAY PROJECT (ADP) – of which
Lee Chaewon (stage name Tarzzan), a student in the Department of Dance
Performance at the School of Dance, is a member – has been making headlines in
the K-pop world with his debut.
Formed under The Black Label, led by renowned producer
Teddy—the mastermind behind iconic K-pop acts such as Big Bang and Blackpink.
ADP consists of three female and two male members, a
rarity among K-pop groups. Their double title track, “Famous” and “Wicked,” which
debuted on June 23, quickly climbed the charts.
Within four days of release, “Famous” topped Melon’s
TOP 100 and ranked 94th on Billboard’s Global 200. In two weeks, it
achieved a Perfect-All-Kill (PAK) on major domestic K-pop charts. Their other
track, “Wicked,” also entered the top 10 of Melon’s TOP 100.
On the 10th day of ADP’s debut, their songs
topped the first week of July chart on Mnet M Countdown.
Both their trendy music and freshness as a co-ed group
full of talent have carved out a niche in the K-pop scene.
Lee Chaewon (Tarzzan) is majoring in Contemporary
Dance at the School of Dance. His talents were previously honored with the Grand
Prix at Tanzolymp Asia 2021 and the Gold prize at the Berlin International
Dance Festival Tanzolymp 2022.
