School of Dance Alumni To Perform at the Invitation Performance of the Global Ballet Star Gala

From 11 to 12 January 2025, alumni of the School of Dance who are currently active on the global stage will perform at the Invitation Performance of Global Ballet Star Gala at the Grand Theater, Sejong Center.

The event will feature a lineup of Korean star dancers active in world-renowned ballet companies. It includes Park Se-eun, an étoile (principal dancer) of the Paris Opera Ballet, Choi Young-gyu, a principal dancer of the Dutch National Ballet, and Chae Jiyoung, a principal dancer of the Boston Ballet.

 The lineup also includes accomplished dancers from the international ballet scene such as Jun Joonhyuk, a soloist of the Royal Ballet (UK), Park Sunmi and Han Sungwoo, who are both soloists of American Ballet Theatre, and Jeon Minchul, who is set to join the Mariinsky Ballet in Russia will also join to make up the stage.

 In addition to classical ballet, the program will showcase a range of performances, including contemporary ballet, offering audiences an opportunity to experience Korean ballet’s technical perfection and artistic depth.
