Prof. Shin Changho Wins 2024 President’s Award, Prof. Jung Jaehyuk Receives Creative Artist Award at 2024 Korea Dance Awards

"March," a choreography by Prof. Shin Changho of the Department of Dance Performance, School of Music, won the President’s Award at the 2024 Korea Dance Awards.

The final round of the 2024 Korea Dance Awards took place at the Grand Hall of Arko Art Center on December 19, 2024. The evaluation was conducted by a jury composed of 80% professionals and 20% citizens. “March” earned a score of 392.8 from the professionals and 97.3 from the citizens, for a total of 490.1 points, securing the President's Award.

The Korea Dance Association (KORDA), the event's organizer, stated, “The final performance provided an unforgettable experience for the audience, showcasing high-quality work that effectively conveyed the choreographer’s intent through stage techniques and direction.”

At the 2024 Korea Dance Night, held following the Korea Dance Awards, Prof. Jung Jaehyuk of the Department of Choreography, School of Music, was honored with the Creative Artist Award for the originality of his works.
