the president’s office on 7th floor at the main campus of the University
of Seoul, the K-Arts and University of Seoul (UOS) finalized an MOU on academic
and artistic exchange.
According to the MOU, both institutions agreed
to strengthen their partnership through cooperation, with the aim of fostering mutual
growth and development.
The main contents of the MOU include the following: exchange of personnel in teaching and research through classes, special lectures, seminars, student exchange (for both undergraduate and graduate programs) along with certification of course credits from each other’s curricula, pursuit of joint research projects and academic symposiums encompassing areas where practices are required, mutual exchange of academic materials, publications, and information, and sharing of each other’s facilities.
Through the MOU, K-Arts expects to enhance the on-site creative prowess of rising talents who have philosophical and humanistic insights with great competence. At the same time, UOS anticipates maximizing the value of developing human resources in creative arts through industrial-academic cooperation.
President Kim Daejin of K-Arts noted, “This
opportunity will allow us to develop high-quality curricula and foster experts
in arts and culture, so that both universities will contribute to bettering the
local regions and society.”
President Won Yongkul of UOS reciprocated,
“By establishing the groundwork for academic-research cooperation with K-Arts, we
are looking forward to strengthening our capabilities in education and research.”
Both universities plan to engage in
