Schedules
for Wednesday Cinema & Rare Cinema Collection Are Now Available
The K-Arts’s
Wednesday Cinema of the 2nd half of 2024, already celebrating its 12th
anniversary, has lined up the latest popular films to screen for the locals. It
plays 12 films on Wednesdays from 4 September to 11 December, at 3 p.m. and
6 p.m. each time.
Also from 5
October, “The 2nd Half of 2024 Rare Cinema Collection” will be run
on Saturdays. The Rare Cinema Collection digs up and screens internationally best
rare classic movies. It began in 2016. The “Old Cine,” an internet-based
classic movie club, formed in 2005 by Art & Technology co-hosts the event. The
Rare Cinema Collection questions what authentic masterpieces of 20th-century
cinema are. It archives copies of screened films at the Arts Library on the Seokgwan
campus to use as materials for research and development of the film industry.
All showings by
the Wednesday Cinema and Rare Cinema Collection are free of charge. The
information about the screening schedule is available on the K-Arts’s
website at http://www.karts.ac.kr.
