Finance Experts Flock to K-arts’ CEO Program, Sparking Arts & Business Synergy

K-Arts’s Culture & Arts Program for CEO Goes Viral Among Financial Experts

Lately, K-Arts’s Culture & Arts Program for CEOs (CAP) has gained significant popularity among professionals in finance. Among the many universities in Korea offering programs for CEOs, K-Arts has captured executives' attention with its focus on arts and culture, resulting highly competitive entrance process.

Typically, university program for CEOs provide an opportunity to build knowledge in corporate management while fostering business networking. The CAP's popularity, despite its limited focus on financial education and practical business affairs, seems to be based on the program's uniqueness: executives can curture an artistic eye and form a network within the arts community.

K-Arts CAP includes field trips where participants and K-Arts professors visit historic and/or artistic sites both in and out of the country. Participants can also choose from four artistic activity classes - classical voice, dance, photography, and acting. These classes offer opportunities to engage in artistic activities, providing a deeper understanding of the arts and artists.

The CAP is expected to have a positive impact by enhancing business and finance experts' appreciation for the arts, potentially leading to increased support for the rising artists. Indeed, Won Jong-suk, CEO and Chairman of Shinyoung Securities. Co., Ltd., who completed the CAP, has became a patron since 2016.

In 2021, under the leadership of Chairman Won, K-Arts and Shinyoung Securities signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster artistic talent. Since then, Shinyoung Securities has supported K-Arts students' artistic activities through the program 'Shinyoung Culture Chllenge,' 'Shingyoung Culture Dream Up,' and 'Shinoung Culture Class,' offering scholarship to attend international competitions and opportunities for stage performance across disciplines, respectively.
