K-Arts & Gurye County Co-operate Summer Arts Residency Program
According to the MOU, K-Arts partnered up with Gurye County will run a summer program for teens residing in Gurye. It provides students with video-making and drama classes. From 5 to 9 August, 40 junior-high students in Gurye will learn from the students of the School of Film, TV & Multimedia or the School of Drama in these classes and have an opportunity to discover their talents and dream big their arts-cultural endeavors.
The curriculum consists of a “video program” where students
will make music videos using short-form media such as reels, shorts, etc., and “drama
and play” where they will freely express their thoughts and emotions in acting.
Even more, additional arts-cultural programs are
planned. “Gurye Village Busking” where K-Arts artists visit the locals with a
concert made up of different genres of performances and “Gurye Stay &
Workshop” residency where K-Arts students exchange and share their artistic
experiences with the locals are the representative programs designed for coexistence
with the local community.
