Violinist Seo Yoomin To Become Concertmaster of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra
Violinist Seo Yoomin, an alumna of the Department of Instrumental Music, School of Music, was appointed as the concertmaster of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in the United States. As Seo has passed the audition for the position, her term in office begins in the upcoming September.
After acquiring her
BA in the School of Music, Seo flew to the United States to complete the master
class at the Colburn School. She placed 3rd in the 2014 International
Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians and in the 2019 Vienna
International Classic Strings Competition. Now she is the youngest permanent
associate concertmaster at the Pacific Symphony Orchestra (US).

1991, the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra is based in New Orleans.
