K-Arts Architects Unveil Futuristic Visions for Seoul Metropolitan City

K-Arts Architects Join to Present Architectural Visions of Seoul Metropolitan City

Students from the Department of Architecture, School of Visual Arts, participates to the exhibition "Shaping Seoul's Tomorrow" at the Seoul Hall of Urbanism & Architecture from December 29, 2023 to February 25, 2024. This showcase hosted by the city of Seoul Metropolitan features innovative works by university students majoring in architecture, offering diverse perspectives on Seoul's dynamic future centered on values such as innovation, preservation, and sustainability.

The exhibition, a collaboration of the promising architects from 14 universities in Seoul including K-Arts, presents 40 submissions that envision resolutions for Seoul's future challenges. Each project tackles various aspects, aiming to re-imagine and revitalize the daily lives of citizens. The exhibits, enclosed within panels throughout the entire venue, promise to captivate and engage visitors.

Beyond showcasing the visions of Seoul proposed by the next generation of architects, the exhibition aims to foster connections among individuals, experts, and citizens with differing opinions on the city's future. By presenting creative and exceptional works that reflect the open-minded and flexible perspectives of future architects, the exhibition provides an opportunity to reflect on and envision diverse futures for Seoul.

Participating universities in this architectural exploration include Korea National University of Arts, Korea University, Kwangwoon University, Kookmin University, Seoul National University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, University of Seoul, Sejong University, Soongsil University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Chung-Ang University, Hanyang University, and Hongik University.
