Kim Daejin of K-Arts Is Appointed as a Member of the Holistic Education Special
Committee under the National Education Commission of Korea
The National Education Commission ordained by the president of the Republic of Korea organized 5 special committees, including the Holistic Education Special Committee, and made the official launch by holding an appointment ceremony for 68 members of the special committee.
Based on the Act on the Establishment and Operation of the National Education
Commission, the special committees were formed into 5 parties: Holistic
Education Special Committee (13 members), College Admission System Reorganization
Committee (16 members), Local College Development Special Committee (16
members), Lifelong Education Special Committee (12 members), Nurturing Prospective
Science Talent Special Committee (11 members). The special committees will be
in charge of previewing and counseling the education policies related to respective
fields before the National Education Commission deliberates and decides on them.
Aware of the graveness of school
violence and the urgent need for recovering trust in school education, the
Holistic Education Special Committee, commission director Lee Bae-yong took
responsibility for leading the committee. The commission members will serve
their posts for a year from this April to 31 March next year.
