Artist Kim Juwon, School of Visual Arts, Participates in the Exhibition, Spectral
Matters
Visual artist Kim Juwon participates in an exhibition, “Spectral Matters,” organized by the Whistle from 12 November 22 to 12 February 23 at Kolon Sport Hannam. The exhibition explores an aspect of contemporary society where consumption and production are recklessly ever repeated and suggests pondering upon the role each individual can take to enable a sustainable life. Kim Kyeongtae, Kim Juwon, and Kim Taeyoon took part in the exhibition.
Kim Juwon displays his “A Year In Tochka No. 84” (2020). Kim has
been an active member of collectives, such as the Compression and Expansion and
Expansion Colony. He was awarded the 10th Doosan Artist Award in 2019. He is
known for producing the original images created by combining, blending, or
rearranging the photographs commonly found in daily life with music and text in
his own ways.
