Alumna Han Yeri’s Minari(2020) Is Nominated for
Golden Globes in Best Foreign Language Movie
The
film Minari (2020),
starring actress Han Yeri, who studied in the School of Korean Traditional
Arts, received a nomination from the 78th Golden Globes in Best Foreign
Language Movie. Starting from the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize and the U.S.
Dramatic Audience Award at the 2020 Sundance, Director Lee Issac Chung’s Minari (2020) conquered several more
awards up to about sixty awards in total in the categories of the original
screenplay, best-supporting actress, and others in the National Society of Film
Critics. The film’s stunning accomplishments are indeed elevating expectations
for entering the Oscars. Besides, Han Yeri took the Best Actress Prize at the
Golden List Award by the Coalition of Asia Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE).
The release of Minari in
Korea will take place in March.
