Four
Directors of the School of Film, TV & Multimedia Are Commissioned for Committee
at Mis-en-scène Short Film Festival
Directors Lee Kyung-Mi, Jang Jae-Hyun, Lee Sang-Geun, and Jeon Go-Woon, alumni of the School of Film, TV & Multimedia, were appointed committee members at the 19th Mis-en-scène Short Film Festival (MSFF).
Director Lee Kyung-Mi who directed Crush and Blush (2008) and The Truth Beneath (2016) and director Jang who directed he Priests (2015), Svaha: The Sixth Finger (2019) will be serving their consecutive terms as co-directors of the festival. Director Lee Sang-Geun who filmed Exit (2019) and director Jeon who filmed Microhabitat (2018) are appointed for vice festival directors. They were all indeed past candidates of MSFF.
Lee Kyung-Mi won the best award with her Feel Good Story (2004) in the Best Film
in a City of Sadness, and Jang Jae-Hyun won the best award with 12th Assistant Deacon (2014) in the Best
Film in the Extreme Nightmare. Moreover, Lee Sang-Geun won in Jury’s Special
Award with Mr. Tap’s Holiday (2010)
and Best Film in the King of Comedy with Do
You Wanna Baby? (2006). Jeon Go-Woon made presence to the
movie fans with Bad Scene (2012)
at the 11th MSFF.
