2017 이주민영화제 사전제작지원 공모 2017 Migration World Film Festival Pre-Production Support Project 이주민영화제는 ‘영화’라는 공통의 언어로 이주민과 선주민이 소통하며 공감하는 자리를 만들고자 노력해오고 있습니다. 그 일환으로 서울영상위원회의 후원을 받아 올해 세번째 사전제작지원 프로젝트를 진행하게 되었습니다. 이주민과 이주에 대한 영화를 만들고자 하는 영화인들의 많은 참여와 관심 부탁드립니다. 1. 사업 개요 – 명칭 : 이주민영화제 사전제작지원 프로젝트 – 내용 : 20분 내외 단편(장르 제한 없음) 총 제작비 700만원 지원 (200만원에서 400만원 2~3편) – 대상 : 이주민 또는 이주에 관한 내용이 담겨 있는 작품 – 주최 : 이주민영화제 집행위원회 – 후원 : 서울영상위원회 2. 사업 세부 내용  제작지원 작품 선정 일정 – 신청 접수 : 2017년 7월 1일(토) ~ 7월 31일(월) – 1차 서류 심사 결과 발표 : 2017년 8월 15일(화) – 2차 인터뷰 심사 : 2017년 9월 14일(목) ~ 9월 22일(금) – 최종 선정 발표 : 제11회 이주민영화제 (2017년 10월 말 개최 예정)  제작지원 작품 제작 일정 – 제작 기간 : 2018년 8월까지 – 작품 상영 : 2018년 제12회 이주민영화제 ※ 위 일정은 영화제 일정에 따라 변경될 수 있음  제작지원 접수 및 기타 사항 ① 지원 서류 – 제작지원 신청서 1부 (소정양식: 이주민방송 홈페이지 www.mwtv.kr 및 이주민영화제 www.mwff.org 공지사항에서 다운로드) – 제작진 이력서 및 소개서 1부 – 영화제작계획서 1부 (구성안, 자료조사 내용, 취재 내용 등 포함) – 촬영계획서 1부 (씬, 인원, 촬영일정, 소요기자재 등 명시) – 제작비 예산서 1부 – 제작진의 기존작품(있을 경우) 1편 포트폴리오 (심사용 프리뷰 DVD) ※ 제출된 자료는 반환하지 않음. ② 신청 방법 및 접수처 – 제작지원 신청 서류를 이메일로 접수 (mwff@hanmail.net) – 포트폴리오는 기간 내 우편 혹은 방문 접수 ※ 제출: (우) 07292 서울시 영등포구 도림로 435 성문빌딩 3층 ③ 제작지원작 유의사항 – 사전 제작 지원을 받아서 제작되는 작품은 2018년 제12회 이주민영화제에서 상영할 수 있도록 2018년 8월까지 제작이 완료되어야 합니다. – 완성본은 이주민영화제와 서울영상위원회에 제출해야 합니다. 단, 사전 협의 없이 제출된 기획안과 전혀 다른 작품이 완성되었거나, 명확한 사유 없이 해당기간 내에 작품을 완성하지 못하면 지원금 전액을 현금으로 반납해야 합니다. – 지원자는 제작물에 반드시 이주민영화제와 서울영상위원회의 제작지원을 명기하고 CI를 표기해야 합니다. – 제작 완료 후 제작지원금 전액에 대해 정산 및 증빙하여야 합니다. ※ 그 외 자세한 내용의 협약서는 “지원자”와 “이주민영화제”가 협의하여 작성하기로 합니다. ④ 문의처 : 이주민영화제 사무국 전화번호 02-776-0416, 이메일 mwff@hanmail.net 주소 (우) 07290 서울시 영등포구 도림로 435 성문빌딩 3층 2017 Migration World Film Festival Pre-Production Support Project As a core program of MWTV, the Migrant World Film Festival offers a selection of insightful films focused on topics related to migration, migrant workers, immigrants, and refugees. Futhermore, the MWFF strives to promote an understanding of diversity and contribute to a greater communication between migrants and natives in Korea. Therefore, the MWFF is looking for passionate candidates of the Funding Support Project, who are planning to make the films on Migration. The project will provide filmmakers with financial aid sponsored by Seoul Film Commission. We hope that many of you will apply for it. 1. Project outline – Project Name : Funding Support Project for the Films for the 12th Migration World Film Festival – Awards : Cash grant of KRW 2,000,000 ~ 4,000,000 for 2 ~ 3 selected films – Eligibility : Works of all genres on the topic of migration that should exceed 20 minutes in length – Organizer : Programming department of the Migrant World Film Festival – Sponsor : Seoul Film Commission 2. Film selection process & guidelines  Selection process – Application Submission : July 1 – July 31, 2017 – Selection Procedure : <1st step> Evaluation of submitted materials <2nd step> Interview with the filmmaker of the selected films – The first announcement of selected films : August 15, 2017 – Interview schedule : September 14 – 22, 2017 – The final announcement of selected films : October in 2017 on the opening ceremony of the 11th Migrant World Film Festival  Production Schedule – The selected films should be completed by August, 2018. – The selected films will be shown during the 12th Migration World Film Festival. ※ The schedule may be subject to change under certain circumstances.  Application submission & rules and regulations ① Submission materials – Application form (Download from MWTV website ; www.mwtv.kr or www.mwff.org) – Film project proposal (including project plan, project research, research data, etc.) – Shooting plan (including scenes, crew list, cast numbers, shooting schedule, equipment, etc.) – Financing plan – CV and cover letter of the applicant filmmaker – Filmmaker’s previous work If you have (preview copy in DVD) ※ Submitted materials will not be returned. ② How to submit – Email submission: Please send your application materials to mwff@hanmail.net. – Preview copy in DVD can be mailed or hand delivered to 3rd fl, Sungmoon BD, 435, Dorim-Ro, Yeongdeungpo-Gu, Seoul, Korea ③ Rules and regulations – The selected films must be completed by August, 2018 and will be shown during the 12th Migration World Film Festival. – Completed films should be submitted to the programming department of the Migration World Film Festival and Seoul Film Commission. However, if the selected films differ greatly to the proposal specified in the application without prior consultation or if the films are not completed within the period specified above without any particular reasons, the grant money will be withdrawn. – The fund support must be acknowledged with a tag line and logo at the end credits of the film. – After the selected films are completed, documentary evidence about the actual utilization of the fund will be required. ※ Other detailed contents of contract between the “applicant” and “the Migration World Film Festival” will be documented by mutual consent. ④ For further information, please contact the programming department of the Migrant World Film Festival.
